Bodyworks BodySculpt Challenge – Exercise
All participants have the choice of including an exercise routine or not. Contrary to what many people are led to believe – exercising does not make you lose weight ! What are those gasps I hear in the back ? How can we say that ? Well logic and a considerable amount of research (not by us). What exercise can do for you though is change the shape of your body and increase muscle to fat ratio which in turn will go someways to helping to increase your basic metabolism which in turn helps stop you from whacking the pounds back on. Simply put – exercise helps you look and feel better whilst helping your body go through a myriad of chemical changes to improve your quality of life and general wellness.
We have mapped out a simple but (what we think) effective program aimed primarily at a number of targets :
- Improve cardio vascular fitness
- Improve strength
- Improve muscular endurance
- Improve muscular power
- Improve ‘core strength’
- Improve flexibilty
- and so on ……….. and yes ladies ‘lunch lady arms’ and ‘toning your butt’ are very high on this list as well !
